Counseling & Support
Every student is assigned a college counselor to receive tailored advice and encouraging based on their own program journey. Counselors meet with students and even families via online workshops to ensure students and families are specially informed about their progress.
Also, the goal of the counseling program is to facilitate each student’s development and growth throughout the entire program. To this end, the counseling program works in partnership with parents, teachers, and administrators to help students and athlete students to be intellectually competent, and open to growth at both personal, and academic levels.

Counselors are available to meet with students on an individual basis.
Academic Support
While counseling emphasizes a proactive approach to Learning Services, there are times when additional academic support is needed.
Learning does not happen in a social vacuum, but rather in a social environment with multiple variables since it’s not just about the course, but about the space in which the teaching is taking place. Hence, successful online learning is all about its environment which includes social activities, group study, etc. In the case of AAM will offer the following options to students
Virtual Clubs & Meet-Ups
The American Academy of Montreal strongly encourages participation in virtual co-curricular clubs and activities for all students in an effort to help them find their passions and how they can best serve each other and their respective communities.

To make as many opportunities available as possible, a wide variety of groups currently exist, with new ones always being added. There truly is something for everyone!
Homework Club
A Peer Tutoring Club can be created to meet on a regular basis, to help students get a head start on their homework. We know that organization is crucial, so peers can begin their assignments in a focused and supportive environment, and eventually help each other in their assignments.
