A WORD FROM OUR DIRECTOR

Gen Harbec_2022.jpg

The American Academy of Montreal programs, through its High School Dual Diploma & the NCAA Dual Diploma programs, allow students to obtain two different high school diplomas by carrying out studies simultaneously at two schools: one in the country where they reside through in-person studies (Quebec), and the other, American studies, by following a virtual academic curriculum. This allows students to obtain an American high school diploma with identical value to one awarded at an in-person school in the United States.

The AAM brings American education to students all around Quebec via virtual schooling. Through its fully accredited high school partner in the United States, AAM can make more dreams achievable for various student groups. Unprivileged students willing to do their college/university in the United States, students wanting to fast track the usual road of earning an American high school degree, athletic students dreaming to compete at a high level in American championships, etc. The AAM's aim is not to substitute the Quebec educational system, but it is to complement it and to help disadvantaged students achieve their athletic and academic American dream.

Over and above the obtainment of a second high school credential, the AAM programs have been designed with the goal of providing additional advantages to students. It gives them a collection of skills: good command of English, better learning autonomy, interdisciplinary setting, digital and audio-visual literacy, and information search skill, to allow them to face the challenges of a more demanding globalized market.

I truly hope that the American Academy of Montreal will help you reach your full potential!
